START-UP | HEAD OF PRODUCT | ENGINEERING EXPERT

Ingenn is the Head Hunting company solely focused on the search and selection of technical profiles and engineers.

The partner:

We are looking for a Head Of Product to be hired on a permanent contract with one of our clients, an innovative Start-Up in the chemical-engineering sector. Our client specializes in renewable energy and, in particular, in the research, development and prototyping of new green batteries and long-duration energy storage systems

The role:

• Lead and supervise with a "hands-on" approach the development of the product roadmap, defining KPIs and technical requirements and using advanced systems engineering methodologies
• Conduct use case analysis and customer needs assessment to translate them into system architectures, evaluating their applicability and minimizing gaps between requirements and technical solutions
• Analyze the regulatory and certification landscape, identify opportunities in terms of product compliance and safety, and interact with certification bodies when necessary
• Interface with industrial partners and suppliers in order to transform projects into actually manufacturable systems, ensuring design-for-manufacturing and cost alignment
• Supervise multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring methodological consistency and alignment between verification, validation and risk management activities through structured product development frameworks

Mandatory skills:

• Master's degree or PhD in energy, mechanical, chemical engineering or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience of at least 7 years gained in the development of complex industrial products/projects in the energy field, preferably with particular focus on system requirements definition, architectures and cross-functional management
• A solid knowledge of safety and risk management methodologies (FMEA, HAZOP, HAZID) applied to industrial products, necessarily including V&V activities, design reviews and regulatory compliance is a mandatory requirement
• Excellent level of English (B2 minimum)
• The knowledge of italian language level C1 or C1 is ideal but not mandatory
